Borders, radius and outlines

Border utilities

Tailwind provides border width, color, style and radius utilities. Use them to establish component boundaries without creating separate CSS rules.

Border versus outline

Borders participate in the element's box model, while outlines are drawn outside the border and are commonly useful for focus indicators.

Accessibility

Do not remove focus indicators simply because the default browser outline does not match your design. Replace it with a clearly visible focus treatment.
