Temporary In-Memory Data

A tmpfs mount stores files in memory instead of persistent disk storage. It is useful for temporary data that should not survive container removal and can reduce disk writes.

Because tmpfs is memory-backed, use it only when the workload and host memory budget make sense. It should not be treated as durable storage.
